I love weddings.  And I love weddings here in Charleston.  The settings here could not be more beautiful.  We have beaches, outdoor venues and we have wedding chapels in Charleston SC.  Perhaps that is why Charleston is the 3rd largest destination wedding city in the country hosting over 70 weddings per weekend.  The county last year recorded over 3,700 marriage licenses and it shows in how far in advance brides and their families have to plan to get a venue.

That being said, it should stand to reason that you should book your venue and vendors as far in advance as possible to ensure you get the place you want and the vendors you want as well.

There is some fierce competition for vendors in this town.  Don't mess with a bride planning the biggest day of her life.  Really, brides are constantly contacting us for dates and sadly we turn away the majority of them because they started planning too late.  My best advice is plan a year in advance.  Don't have a year to find a photographer or a wedding chapel in Charleston SC?  Well, you should check out our availability anyway.
